Driver was reckless and website as well as corp office # doesn't work and
I am very concerned and bothered at the unsafe driving of a driver while on the EB 58 freeway on Friday the 14th of June in Teahachepi California. I am a firefighter that also drives heavy apparatus and am very familiar with the difficulties of driving apparatus around smaller vehicles and or speeding vehicles on an uphill grade.
In this situation I was off duty and we were on an uphill grade on the 58 freeway between 5:30 p.m. and 6 p.m. the first time I saw this driver merging over into traffic that is passing him as he's approaching another big rig going uphill and slower than his speed. He caused vehicles to stop abruptly as he sharply turned into the fast lane of the two lane Highway.
It is not uncommon to see that happen on this stretch of highway but this one was without any regard to the traffic coming behind him and next to him. It's way too small of a gap to merge into when you have traffic coming. But again this is not uncommon to see but this one was really cutting it close. Then as I continue uphill on the grade the Ryder truck passed me in the number 2 lane catching up to a slower truck in the number 2 lane....
he slowed down at which the vehicle in front of me, a green mini van full of kids, was continuing in the number one lane which the Ryder truck tried to pass. I was couple car lengths behind the green minivan in front of me which was right around the rear left axle of the Ryder truck if not more. At this point I'm already looking at the Ryder truck driver based on the earlier incident and now I see him slowing down ...he puts his blinker and abruptly changes into the green minivans lane forcing the minivan into the center divider. It was in a matter of seconds without any regard!
He forcibly moved himself into the lane nearly causing an accident. I tried calling the corporate office at that moment but they were closed. Tired calling corporate but it said it was closed. I'm hoping that there is a dashcam video on that Ryder trucks so this information could be cross reference and not erased.
After that reckless and aggressive driving incident I got the truck's license plate which is Indiana plate 2289**** for the cab and the trailer plate P835007..the can also had a truck number I believe and that was 16130. The driver appeared to be a white male short hair to balding thin build maybe 40's.
I'm sorry this is a lengthy email but I myself wasn't the one he ran off the road but I can guarantee had they crashed I would have been and or close to being involved. It's upsetting to see how reckless he was driving and no regard for safety. I myself have been on emergency scenes involving tractor trailers and they are really bad!
I was hoping they would follow up with the driver and have the dash cam videos cross referenced with the date and time and location to verify this information. Unfortunately I attempted to reach corporate and the phone number disconnects after a typing recording is played and hangs up!!
Their website comment to report it states" AN ERROR OCCURRED PLEASE TRY LATER" Every day I attempted for 4 days and still got the same on different computers. USELESS!!!!

Worst attitude from a driver
This morning I came hom ans a truck was parking infront of the cars, I didn't know if he was wairing or passing or what, suddenly he backed up approaching my car I was scared and I backed up too before he crashes me; when I park I just went to tell him that he needs to be more careful because he almost crash me (big mistake) his language was very rude, he came to my face pointed his finger at men told me to be away from his *** truck, and he said if I call the police his going to f....k my car, me, the police and my husband ( and he wasn't eve there)
I understand he didn't see me, but drivers need to be aware of small cars, and extra careful at the parking lot because I couldn't see infront of him either. I learned my lesson don't talk to any truck driver and just call the police so they can solve the problem.
I am really sacared.

I purchased a truck ( m2-106 Houston Texas ) Terrible service , had to sell myself a truck they would not leave the building !!!!

I got the certified truck - have the all the items I could find wrong with it .
They said that it would be taken care by Ryder , I was told since I reside in Tyler Texas that they would do it there .
That was October 2018 , I’ve been there in 3 separate occasions to get the final two items taken care of .
I just came back (January) as they set me up for another appointment ( each time I lose major income) last time was two weeks . About 9000.00 in lost revenue.
Yesterday I called them ( Amy Lang ) Ryder warranty dept Georgia.
After I was informed that they ( Tyler was told to inform me that I would have to pay for the repairs !!!!
So I called Amy Lang ( she has been very rude ) that she has to wait for Managent ( she’s in charge of this department) to ok the work .
Well I’ve been told it’s okyywice before and each time I get the runaround from Tyler blaming Georgia , Georgia blames management.
Certified truck are not well maintained
shabby work done just to sell unit Ryder certified truck is garbage with a fancy word "CERTIFIED" I bought a truck from Ryder in 2018 within 9 months I changed the turbo and complete def system. cost me $34000.
Two months later the engine failed. The mechanic maintains that the engine failed due to dirty clogged oil galleys left when the engine head was redone. The main and connecting bearings were not getting sufficient oil which caused then to break. The engine head was redone by Ryder of Sacramento Ca prior to me purchasing.
I pointed this out the director of sales Brad Killick who's response is the time has passed for Ryder to take responsibly for the damage. Brad has told me he would speak to the shop that did the work and get back to me instead he spoke to his legal time "who are experienced in mechanics I guess" . He got back me saying nothing about what the mechanics who did work concluded. But did say that his legal team said no responsibility is warranted.
Their trucks are not being maintained properly and the mechanics are doing shabby work just to get their units sold. I asked for Ryder to step up and purchase a used engine for $13000 and I will pay for the mechanic to put in the engine in just as a compromise under the situation. It would get my driver back to work and it would maintain our future relationship.
This was turned down. They are refusing to help in any way and I am stuck with a truck payment for $1400 per month for the next five years.

Poor Customer Service
Preferred solution: Im not looking for anything. I just wanted someone to know how bad the customer service was. I left so dissapointed, could not believe a large company allowed such poor customer service.
Shame On Them, Be Careful It Could Be Your Life
I have not heard anything from Ryder as of this point. I have although, retained an attorney and if they don't get back to me to settle the amount listed, it will be a lot more compensation that they will have to pay.
We are all at risk with the way they maintain their trucks and order the shop managers not to give copies of the DVIRs that us Truck drivers gave to them to get our trucks fixed. that alone is illegal. I was told, "no we don't do it that way here" when I asked for the copy I was to get back from the shop.
I was hurt so bad that I have been out of work just about 4 months now still unable to walk. After asking the shop with a DVIR each time to fix my truck. I also told them that I still had a job but I wasn't going to take my truck and they gave me another that was even worse than mine.
I am not going to allow Ryder to get away with this, Those trucks should be looked after and you certainly shouldn't have to tell them 4x to fix your truck before something happens just to get another that hurts someone to the point to where they can't even supply for their family.
I have all the information I need to pursue it in court before the year is up. Their best bet is to contact me and settle. I will never be the same again. Working might not even be an option for me anymore. If they don't I am going to take them for everything I can. So they learn that people matter more than them making money.
Either way, I will make sure that I review again.

Thanks,,,,, I will not buy from them. I hate businesses that do scams, and don't taken pride in their customers service and have no consideration on the amount of money that you paid for the truck.
it should be in perfect condition. I will take my money and business else where.
