They (salesman)are quick to ask for a $500.00 deposit towards trucks that are rusty and with many mechanical issues. Before anyone decides to make purchase, take the vehicle to the dealership for a DOT inspection. The salesman is quick to reserve a truck and pocket your $500., but doesn’t know nothing about what he’s selling or seen what he/she is trying to sell, nor is at the location of the vehicle

Excessive penalty for upgrading lease truck #651910

Ryder charged $5400.00 for penalty fee when I want to upgrade my current lease truck (In CA - Company closed due to pandemic) to a refrigerated truck in New York (Sub company). My Ryder salesperson said this is a penalty / termination fee. I still have one year left on the lease truck. I don't understand why a penalty / termination fee is imposed for upgrading a truck. The truck was barely used - 1500 mile in 8 months. I contacted Ryder HQ but the customer relations personnel (without any explanation) directed my case back to my salesperson. I reached out trying to work something out, but my Ryder salesperson refused. As of now I am still paying for the lease truck sitting in Ryder Lax - CA location and unable to get another truck to use in New York. What a dilemma!

I Brought my truck to service since last Tuesday on Gore St., Orlando, FL When I call on Thursday they said the truck will be ready on Friday come Friday truck is not ready say Monday Come Monday to pick the truck up they still havent touched the truck yet they said waiting for sensor for a whole week That they say it was supposed to be a next day delivery Tomorrows Wednesday I call every two hours every time I called they tell me something else Said call back in another hour I call back at night time someone else say the part is there they just didnt put it in inventory so I have to just there Every time I got a load I cant pick it up because my truck just sit there UnbelievableUnbelievableand service

Verbal abuse from obvious boss to older employee. The man I saw was older with a beard, obviously somewhat disabled. I was embarrassed as I am sure he was too. I wish to be anonymous.

Last week I did contact with the manager of the office. The intermediate officers don't got me options but now he promises me that the 50% of the charges who'l be back to my credit card. He recognized that a part of the hit in the back side of the truck was registered in the truck history before I rented! This is good news for me because $1,500 is a hard hit for my finances. I'm Still waiting for my money back.

Dont be confident with this guys. Take a full vídeo of the truck before drive it. I did paid a lot for insurance ($300 a week and other charges for liability) and surprise! What very abusive charges: more than $2,000 for a few scratches in a side of the box. They are charging me for an existent little hit in the back side of the truck. I asked to a professional licensed and insured taller for the cost of fixing that scratches and the estimate is only $450. I rented the truck in Doral, Miami offices. I were very confident because it looks like a big company and my experience renting vehicles whit Enterpise and othe was good all times. Im filling claims with all the possible consumer protection agencies and Visa credit card. Aware of this company

Omg worst service

Bought a mattress from way-fair and they used Ryder deliver service - they could not find my address super rude on the phone. Delivery was so bad just ask them for deliver the mattress in the hallway they dragged my expensive mattress in the snow on the floor and stayed in my hallway and did not leave so I ask them why are you not leaving they said they have to pick up my old mattress I told them there is no old mattress and they still did not leave it was the worst experience i had OMG

Worst customer service

I would give this company zero stars if I can. This is the worst customer service and delivery service out there. I had ordered a proform Hiit machine, and they sent out a delivery scheduling email. I selected my date and time to be delivered for which I got a confirmation. On the day of the delivery window, there was no delivery. I contacted the local location in Chicago who them notified me that the driver had an emergency and couldnt make it. However, they didnt tell me when they can deliver it again. They basically said that they will deliver it whenever they have a chance. Worst customer service ever! I will never order from an online company again if they are using RYder as their delivery company.

I'm surprised Ryder is still even in business. I bought two 26ft freightliners with lift gates at the same time and they were located in Kansas and me and my employee live in Houston TX.

When I was notified that the trucks were ready i booked 2 one way tickets to Kansas to get the trucks and as soon as I got there I started inspecting the truck. First thing I tested were the lift gates 1 lift gate was extremely slow to activate and the other didn't activate at all but instead broke and the lift gate fell full speed and hit the ground. I just looked at the tech and sales rep and said really? I turned on both trucks and 1 of the trucks was shaking so hard I thought it was having a seizure again looked at the rep and tech and said really?

the second truck that came on shot out all this black smoke from the tail pipe I looked at the rep and tech and said you guys owe me some plane ticket money. Ryder tried to fight it but I replied with pay for a hotel and fix these trucks by tomorrow morning so i can head ack home or lose out on $78k your choice. Ryder agreed to pay for a hotel and have them fixed by the morning. The next morning I go to pick up the trucks and they were fine so I signed the paperwork and left with the trucks.

Now fast forward 10 hours me and my employee are on I45 in Houston and check engine lights turn on on both trucks and I lose massive air pressure in my brakes i pull over and call Ryder and tell them have you guys ever heard of the Lemon Law. well the trucks are out here in between Dallas and Houston so come pick them up and give me money back. They said that's not possible and I said would you rather my attorney tell you or do you want to just come get your trash trucks and give me money back you choice.

with in 5 days I got my money back and I don't know what happened to those trucks. NEVER BUY FROM RYDER THE COMPANY IS FULL OF LOW DOWN PIECESOF ***
